Du Toit Plumbing

Before & after

In this trade the photos are the testimonial. Every job below is a real house on the West Rand — what we walked into, and what we left behind.

Old geyser to solar conversionHelderkruin

The original geyser had been limping along for thirty years and finally gave up. The owners wanted off the grid for water heating, so we stripped it out and fitted a roof-mounted solar geyser — hot water through load-shedding, and the electricity bill noticed immediately.

Bath to walk-in showerLittle Falls

Original 1990s bathroom. We stripped the bath, moved the supply and waste points for a walk-in shower, and had the plumbing done in two days so the tiler could start on schedule.

Collapsed sewer lineFlorida

Recurring blockages turned out to be a root-bound clay sewer pipe. Camera inspection found the collapse, we excavated the section and re-ran the waste lines in new PVC. No blockages since.

Galvanised re-pipeKrugersdorp North

Sixty-year-old galvanised supply lines, rusted almost closed — brown water and a trickle in the shower. Re-piped the whole house in copper over two days, water off for only six hours of it.
